Movie plot
The story of a wandering boy who falls in love with a rich deaf girl. Frankie dreams of a better life for herself and her grandson. But the influence of their sister leads them both to become embroiled in a life of crime. There is a glimmer of hope when Frankie meets Jane, a deaf girl from a wealthy Philadelphia family. But to succeed, Frankie will have to keep herself and her grandson away from the lure of Port Richmond's street rules. A young man struggling for a good life meets a deaf girl from a well-off nearby family, he suddenly sees hope for love, and a better life but only if he can escape the predicament of the streets and the influence of his older sister.
