Movie plot
Season 5 opens with Sydney and Vaughn surviving the car crash; however, Vaughn is taken away in a helicopter by an unknown group while Sydney runs away. Upon returning to Los Angeles, Sydney learns that Vaughn is under suspicion of being a double agent, and the car crash was a possible "extraction".
