Movie plot
Against the backdrop of Ireland in 1845, our story follows a fisherman who is unable to provide for his family as the famine ravages their land. As he watches his loved ones suffer, he finds himself sinking deeper into despair, consumed by darkness and hopelessness. But just when he thinks all is lost, a helpless little girl appears, bringing a glimmer of light into his darkened world. With her innocence and vulnerability, she reminds him of what truly matters and helps him find the strength to fight for his family and community. As they navigate the harsh realities of famine-stricken Ireland, the fisherman and the little girl form an unlikely bond, showing that even in the darkest of times, hope and resilience can still shine through Ireland, 1845. As the famine progresses, a fisherman unable to protect his family is subsumed by darkness until a helpless little girl saves him from despair.
