The series takes place five years after Ben 10 and takes a darker turn than its predecessor. It follows 15-year-old Ben Tennyson as he must utilize the Omnitrix yet again in order to locate his missing Grandpa Max, accompanied by his cousin Gwen and former enemy Kevin 11.
