Movie plot
Maya, a devoted wife and mother, is living in fear of her abusive police officer husband. She knows she needs to leave him, but she also knows that he will fight her for custody of their children. In order to protect herself and her family, Maya decides to gather ironclad evidence of her husband's abusive behavior. With the help of a support group for survivors of domestic violence, Maya begins to document her husband's violent outbursts, and makes plans to leave him for good. But as she gets closer to her goal When her police officer husband starts abusing her, Maya realizes she must gather ironclad evidence to take him down.
