Movie plot
Tiger 24 is a brutal truth discovery. It's never exploitative, but it feels like real crime isn't very common when dealing with these subjects. Pereira travels deep into the jungle to learn about animal behavior and encounter nuances of traditions ranging from survival to religion. Animal conservation is a big deal in India. And tigers are beyond this. They are sacred. However, there was one that attacked and mutilated a man. As Pereira investigates (always carrying a camera), he encounters more cases. This information adds fuel to the social fire where many parties defend their views. The tiger has been moved to the zoo and the wild world is a thing of the past. Surrounded by walls, the tiger paced back and forth seeking refuge in an entirely man-made scheme that seemed incomprehensible. Again, it was horrible when the truth was revealed. The details of the massacre apply only to Pereira's well-founded view of animal activism. Even if it was the behavior of a monster, this beautiful creature could not be considered a victim of something bigger. One particular scene of men jumping the wall is a great representation of that larger picture.
