Movie plot
Kevin's family moves into a new house and discovers that they are not alone - a friendly ghost named Ernest is also living there. Their discovery turns into a viral sensation, but as they dig deeper into Ernest's past, they uncover a dangerous government conspiracy that puts their lives in danger. With the help of some new friends, Kevin and Ernest fight back against the CIA and protect their family and their home. Finding a ghost named Ernest haunting their new home turns Kevin's family into overnight social media sensations. But when Kevin and Ernest investigate the mystery of Ernest's past, they become a target of the CIA.
